Jessica graduated with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2005. After her first clinical affiliation at a manual therapy-based outpatient clinic, she knew that she was meant to be a manual therapist.
She was first introduced to Strain Counterstrain in 2007. However, it was her first Fascial Counterstrain (FCS) course in 2013 that truly influenced her practice path. After seeing the immediate effectiveness of the treatment, she began attending all FCS courses through The Jones Institute.
Providing clients with relief from pain and helping them achieve functional wellness is the main reason why Jessica became a Physical Therapist. After over 17 years of treating clients, she believes that FCS is by far the best technique to accomplish that goal.
“I was having serious issues with one leg. An xray revealed no damage but I limped. I had tried deep tissue massage, Thai massage, you name it. My leg and hip muscles just didn’t work together. I was referred to Jessica and counterstrain and the improvement was immediate. Jessica is able to pinpoint the root of my problems and she knows how to treat them. The treatment is gentle and very effective and Jessica is the best. 5 stars!”
